My Mother's best friend died today.
His name was Jack, and he was only 45.
He sent me and my mother emails and texts and calls very frequently. He gave us recipes, and music, and just plain loved talking to us. I think he was going to become my stepdad eventually. We were planning on going to see him later this spring. Now I think we'll have to set up his funeral.
And the most terrible thing here is that Jack took such great care of my Mom. He told her to go and get checkups a physicals and make sure she was okay. They weren't the most pleasant things, but my Mom did them, and she's in just about the best health and confidence I've seen he

I love it so much and yet it deprives me of so much sleep. XD I'll get over it. I will NEVER get off of this fandom though... I can tell this is always going to be a favorite of mine. ^-^
